Location

a
little mountain in Bugey which is a historical département of Ain in
the Rhône Alpes. It is between Lyon and Chambéry and the town nearby is Belley (20 KM).
The Bugey area is a well-hidden secret
of the Ain département, located at the southern tip of the Jura
mountains between the river Rhône and Ain.
Bugey is known for its wine, the Bugey
VDQS, and Belley is famed for its cheese, la Tome de Belley which is
also known as Chevret.
Ain is a region of dramatic contrasts
and includes forests, mountains and lakes as well as more gentle
slopes of vines. It is a delightful region which abounds with
natural beauty.
Local attractions include fishing,
walking and water activities, also horse-riding and other outdoor
activities.
